TALK PAGE GUIDELINES1) Please be civil and courteous, or I'll report you. It's that simple. In return, I will treat you as I would hope to be treated. 2) If you post a comment here, I'll respond here. It's just easier, as I don't like jumping back and forth to different talk pages. But on the other hand... 3) ...if I post a comment somewhere else (your talk page, a project page, article talk page, etc.), please respond to me in that same place as I'll probably be paying attention to the discussion. (Then again, if you don't hear from me wherever "there" is within a reasonable amount of time, leave a quick note here telling me to stop in.) 4) I'm not online everyday, and even when I'm online I'm not always on WP. So please be patient! 5) Enjoy your day, and your life! (We do all have one outside this place, right...?) Duncan1800 (talk) 11:56, 30 November 2007 (UTC) About my user pageNo, I don't have one yet. I'm thinking of how I want to set it up, and it'll appear when it appears. Any suggestions are welcome, of course. Duncan1800 (talk) 11:56, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Friendly welcomeWelcome! Hello, Duncan1800, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place Welcome to Wikipedia:WikiProject AgricultureWelcome and sorry for the long delay, I've been on wikibreak. I thank you for taking a stab in the tractors area. Please look for ideas on our project page and post thoughts and questions of your own their (or maybe more correctly on the talk page). If you find specific articles that need particular work beyond what you can do alone, note the articles on our articles needing attention section and or our "to do" list. Thanks, and again, Welcome! --Doug.(talk • contribs) 01:58, 5 January 2008 (UTC) Trucking articlesI would just like to request your help with possibly rating, or just proofreaing a few articles I have created about the truck driving industry as a whole. If you have any knowledge of the industry or can just give me some general advice on article layout, grammar, and whatnot, that would help me a lot. These are brand new articles that I have created, and besides a few minor edits from other members, I have worked on them almost exclusively. So a third party would be appreciated. If you can just check out Trucking industry in the United States, Hours of service, and Federal Bridge Gross Weight Formula I would be grateful for ANY advice you can give me. I'm trying to get these article promoted to GA status and then hopefully FA status. I would be happy to return the favor for you. I've only been a registered editor for a month now, but I'm slowly figuring out how this system works. But anyway, thanks for your time and let me know if you're interested.--ErgoSum88 (talk) 08:47, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

InviteJccort (talk) 16:11, 28 February 2008 (UTC) Thanks for your comment at WT:MoS#Observation... and I responded, hopefully constructively. Btw, I see you're into NASCAR. I'm not a fan myself, I am sensitive to loud noise, but I live not far from the Richard Petty museum and eat with NASCAR fans every week. - Dan Dank55 (talk) 19:36, 13 March 2008 (UTC) List of United States over-the-air television networksI see you've split up the tables. I know it's easier to handle, but it's a bit odd-looking, with the tables having different widths and sizes. Should they be one large template, or remain split up? HelloI see you're fairly new round here. Hope you're enjoying Wikipedia and settling in well. I responded to you here, where you seem to be using an argument common among those new to AfD debates - that other articles exist which are worse. It's such a common argument that someone put together a page about it - WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS. In summary, making such an argument only argues for other pages to be deleted, but says nothing about the page under discussion. It could be that you have a point and the page should indeed be kept, but please do explain the grounds for it to be kept. I have an open mind. Cheers. --Dweller (talk) 10:34, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
I have a feeling that consensus is that only winners of series are normally considered notable, with exceptions made for people who stand out from the crowd for exceptional notability (cf Nick Bateman and Jade Goody for their "nasty"-ness and stupidity respectively). I've posted to Wikipedia_talk:Notability_(people)#Reality_TV_contestants to see if I'm right. --Dweller (talk) 13:48, 22 May 2008 (UTC) Augusta International SpeedwayLet me try to clear up some confusion. The Augusta International Speedway was the complex that included eight different tracks. These are described at the tribute site. The Augusta International Raceway was one of the tracks and it was the 3 mile purpose build NASCAR road course (circuit). It is still with us today and being developed into Diamond Lakes Regional Park. This track is where our non profit organization gets its name: Augusta International Raceway Preservation Society. Sorry for the late response to your question. Thanks - Henry Jones —Preceding unsigned comment added by HistoricMustang (talk • contribs) 09:14, 27 June 2008 (UTC) to former LOCE memberHelp us with our problem. The article is September 11, 2001 attacks. Using a word to define the same word is bad. The original version is something like "The September 11, 2001 attacks was a series of...attacks." The title of the article was the result of a long 2004 debate. The use of the title in the introductory sentence makes awkward prose and makes the article title sound like a TV episode article. See that article talk page and help! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:September_11%2C_2001_attacks#Let.27s_not_invent_a_TV_episode_name Thank you. Presumptive (talk) 05:27, 23 July 2008 (UTC) Curious...Can you explain the removal of the external link in Invasion Orion? The checkin note is simply "copyvio nonsense", which I can't understand.
