The USS Hepburn (FF-1055) was a United States Navy Knox class frigate named for Arthur Japy Hepburn. She was laid down 1 June 1966, by Todd Pacific Shipyards, Los Angeles Division, San Pedro, California; and launched 25 March 1967; sponsored by Mrs. Arthur J. Hepburn and Mrs. Joseph R. Barse. She was delivered June 27, 1969 and commissioned July 3, 1969. She was decommissioned December 20, 1991 and struck January 11, 1995. Hepburn was disposed of in support of Fleet training exercise June 4, 2002.
