Never Summer snowboards is a Colorado-based snowboard company. Founded in 1991, the company is owned and operated by brothers Tracey and Tim Canaday, and builds its boards in Denver, Colorado. Never Summer is well known for making their boards in the U.S. by hand, not having pro-model boards and avoiding the use of costly marketing campaigns. Never Summer claims to be the inventor of P-tex sidewalls, now a common feature on the product lines of many manufacturers. Never Summer offers a wide variety of snowboards specific to rider style and preference, all featuring a three year warranty. In 2006, Never Summer changed its name to Never Summer Industries and began producing high-end composite skateboards and longboards as well. The NS snow team consists exclusively of local Colorado-area riders , as does the small but growing NS skateboard team. Many of Never Summers' riders also ride, or have ridden, for Colorado Board Room Inc. Never Summer also has a clothing line. External links
