Larry Albright

Larry Albright is an American politician and former owner of a small business. He is the former mayor of Haleyville, Alabama. He is also a longtime Republican.

Business owner

Larry Albright owned a successful business in the Haleyville area for more than two decades. The business was 'Albright Hardware.' But due to an economical crisis, the business was closed down, the vacant building remained until 2007, when it was demolished in an order to clean up the city, the land was donated to the City of Haleyville.

Mayor

In 2000, Larry Albright joined the election for Mayor of Haleyville, Albright was elected. And in 2004 Albright was reelected. In July 2008 Mayor Albright announced he would not run for Mayor for a third term. After a visit to his doctor, he suggested he was not healthy enough to act as mayor for a third term.

Personal life

Larry Albright lives in Haleyville, Alabama. He was previously a small business owner and a local figure of Haleyville, Alabama, before he became mayor. Larry is married and has two children. One of his grandchildren is an educator at Haleyville Elementary School.
