Izitso was the 1977 album release by the British singer/songwriter Cat Stevens. To the disappointment of some fans, it marked Stevens' further movement in the direction of electronic keyboards and synthesizers, and away from the plain acoustic sounds of his classic earlier recordings.[citation needed] Nonetheless, songs like "(Remember the Days of the) Old Schoolyard" (a duet with Elkie Brooks) and "I Never Wanted to Be a Star" received a decent amount of airplay during the late 1970s.
