Alpro is a European company marketing organic, non-GMO[1], soy based food and drink products. Founded in 1980, as an offshoot of the Vandemoortele Group the company was initially based in Belgium[2], but has expanded throughout Western Europe, by means of new plants or mergers. The company built a new soy milk plant in Kettering in 2000. The company distributes a range of soy based vegetarian / vegan products under two different brands:
